Payment Methods Accepted

McKinleyville Parks and Recreation Department accepts cash, money orders, checks, debit cards and Visa, MasterCard or Discover credit cards.  Please make checks payable to M.C.S.D.

Walk-in Registration

Taken at the Parks and Recreation office located at 1656 Sutter Rd.  Office hours are Monday - Friday 9:00am-5:00pm (closed some holidays).  A "drop-box" is located in the MCSD parking lot for after hours registration drop off. 

Phone-in Registration

Download a form from this website and fax it to 707-839-5964 and make payment over the phone (707-839-9003). We accept Visa, MasterCard or Discover credit cards. 

Mail-in Registration

The correct fee and a completed registration form must be included.  Please do not mail cash.  Make checks payable to: M.C.S.D. Mail form and fee to P.O. Box 2037 McKinleyville, CA 95519.

Registration Procedures

Pre-registration is required, prior to the first meeting, and full payment is required for all activities, unless other arrangements are made.

Fee Reduction Fund

Fee assistance is available for qualified low-income residents of the McKinleyville Community Services District (17 years and younger).  For more information on the Fee Reduction Fund call 707-839-9003. Fee Reduction Award Application

General Procedures

A $20.00 fee will be charged for returned checks in addition to the check amount.

Classes and activities may be cancelled 2-5 days before the first scheduled meeting due to insufficient enrollment.  Register early to assure your choice.

In the event your desired class is closed, please be sure to request that your name be added to an Interested List.  This enables McKinleyville Parks and Recreation to track interest and include those interested in new and future classes.

Refunds

Full refunds will be issued for any class or activity cancelled by McKinleyville Parks and Recreation. Refunds issued may take up to 4 weeks to be received in the mail.

Refunds for other reasons must be requested by completing a Request for Refund form.  A $10.00 service fee per enrollment may be assessed.

McKinleyville Parks and Recreation is not permitted to issue cash for refund requests.
