The California State Water Resources Control Board www.swrcb.ca.gov/ has implemented an emergency water conservation regulation. The information that we have received is available for you to review at the links below.
The regulation prohibits the following:
- The direct application of potable water to driveways and sidewalks
- Watering of outdoor landscapes that cause runoff to adjacent property, non-irrigated areas, private and public walkways, roadways, parking lots and structures
- Using a hose to wash a motor vehicle, unless the hose is fitted with a shut-off nozzle
- Using potable water in a fountain or decorative water feature, unless the water is recirculated.
Please be aware of your water use habits, and where you are able, reduce the amount of water you use!
