Water Rate Calculator and FAQ's

The Board approved rate adjustment took effect March 1, 2014. You can use the rate calculator to determine your future cost for water.

On your bill, the revenue recovery surcharge (RRS) is included in the water base rate. The RRS is a fixed amount and will be added to the new base rate for each meter size through December 2017. The RRS will be eliminated starting in January 2018. The projected base rates including the RRS are available here or at the attachment below.

October 1, 2014 MCSD Board Meeting Cancelled, special meeting scheduled with MMAC on September 24, 2014!

The MCSD Board and McKinleyville Municipal Advisory Committee (MMAC) will have a special meeting on Wednesday September 24, 2014. The body of the public service announcement issued on September 12, 2014 is below. The regular meeting of the MCSD Board of Directors on Wednesday October 1, 2014 has been cancelled. The agenda for the special meeting is now available for review.
