Recreation Advisory Committee Meeting

Meetings are open to the public. Meetings are held every third Thursday of the month at 6:00pm at the MCSD conference room (1656 Sutter Rd.). Additional meetings may be held if deemed necessary. All meetings are noticed in compliance with State and Federal law.

Hoop @ Night Drop in Basketball

What:     Drop in basketball for adults only (18 years and older)

Where:   Mckinleyville Activity Center, 1705 Gwin Rd.

When:    Sundays, 7:00pm -10:00pm

Cost:      $3 per player

Leader-In-Training (LIT) Program

Teens age 13-18 may apply for this fun and unique work experience program.  The LIT program runs in conjunction with the Kids' Camp Summer Day Camp.  LIT's assist program leaders with a variety of activities for children age 5-12 years old.  LIT's gain on the job training in leadership, planning, communication and more.  Application packets may be dowloaded from the link below and are also available at the MCSD Parks and Recreation office on Sutter Rd.

Leader In Training Summer 2013

McKinleyville Parks & Recreation is seeking energetic teens to be Leaders in Training (LIT) at the Kids Camp Summer Day Camp program.

Teens 13-18 years of age are invited to participate in this unique and fun work experience program, assisting Day Camp Recreation Leaders in leading games and activities for day camp participants.

Application packets are due by Friday, May 24, 2013 to the McKinleyville Parks & Recreation Office on Sutter Rd.
