Junior High School Dance on May 20, 2016

McKinleyville Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring a Junior High School dance on Friday, May 20, 2016, from 7:00 p.m. through 9:30 p.m. at the Activity Center for Humboldt County’s 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade students. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. Pre-sale VIP Tickets are $10 per student. Tickets purchased at the door are $15 per student.

New! Jiu Jitsu Classes for Youth and Adults!

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes meet Monday and Tuesday evenings at the McKinleyville Activity Center, 1705 Gwin Rd. Taught by instructor Rodrigo Fanti - black belt in Jiu Jitsu!

Classes will take place May 2,3 - June 13,14 (No classes May 30,31)

Participants ages 5-13 years meet 5:30pm-6:30pm and 14 and older meet from 6:30-7:30pm.

2016 Pee Wee Basketball League Practice & Game Schedules

2016 Pee Wee Basketball League Schedules: Saturday schedule lists practice time followed by game time. Teams practice for half an hour before they play their game.

Drop in Basketball at the McKinleyville Activity Center, 1705 Gwin Road, from 7:00pm-10:00pm Sunday evenings.  Adults 18 and over with a fee of $4.00/player per night.

The Recreation Advisory Committee meet the third Thursday of each month at the District Office Conference Room at 1656 Sutter Road in McKinleyville at 6:30 pm. Anyone from the public is welcome to attend.
