Kids Camp

Join McKinleyville Parks and Recreation for a dynamic summer day camp program in which campers have the opportunity to choose their summer experience.  Campers will have a choice between a variety of options for each "activity" segment of the daily schedule.  Summer is a time for fun and freedom, so we like to provide each participant the opportunity for freedom of choice whenever possible. We offer opportunities for free play both indoors and outdoors each day.  Activities include arts & crafts, sports, games, drama, cooking, roller skating, field trips and more.  Weekly sessions are offered with both full day and half day options available.

Payment for first week of attendance is due in full at time of registration. A $3 per day deposit can be placed on all future dates to reserve your child's spot (Not available on Online Registration).
 

Kids Club Afterschool Program

A unique and dynamic after-school enrichment program in which participants take part in a variety of activities including academic assistance, arts and crafts, games, sports, cultural activities, drama, guest presentations, and occasionally fieldtrips.  A healthy snack is provided daily.

     Morris Elementary- Rooms #33 & #35 (3rd-5th grades ONLY)
     Dows Prairie Elementary- Rooms #39 & #40 (TK-2nd grades ONLY)

     Kindergarten - 5th grades
Fees
     $14 per day for K-2nd Grades
     $12 per day for 3rd-5th Grades

Registration for the upcoming school year opens the first business day in July each summer.  Registration continues to be accepted throughout the school year.

Breakout

Breakout is a day camp program offered during school vacation days.  Open to children age 6-12 years old, participants engage in a variety of activities including arts & crafts, sports, games, and more.  Full day and half day options are available. Breakout runs out of the McKinleyville Activity Center adjacent to Pierson Park. Breakout is held during the following school vacations:

  • President’s Week Break: February 19-23, 2018
  • Spring Break: April 16-20, 2018
